Native Pollinators: Diversity, Natural History, and Conservation

This talk will give an overview of the different animals that provide pollination services in our landscape. We will then dive deeper into some of the extraordinary diversity and natural history of these important, charismatic organisms and discuss conservation challenges and opportunities.

Kyle Bradford is a biologist with the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program in Ghent, NY. He has worked on various projects related to insects over the last 10 years including work with ants, bees, butterflies, and dragonflies. He holds an MS in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England and a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont.
