Invasive species pose serious threats to native plants, wildlife, and local agriculture. This webinar will introduce participants to common invasive plants in New York State and explain how to identify, manage, and prevent their spread. The program will also highlight statewide efforts to address invasive species through partnerships and research.
Frieda Pearce holds a minor in botany and has extensive experience in sustainable horticulture. Her work focuses on native plant preservation, pesticide-free gardening, and environmentally responsible growing practices.
