Hudson River Fish Advisory Pop Up Program

Rensselaer Land Trust, Inc. in partnership with River Haggie Outdoors will present health advice about eating fish caught from New York State waters. Fran Martino, of River Haggie Outdoors, will talk about how to identify fish species and provide information about New York State waters with public access where where the whole family can eat certain fish species. Visitors can take home an advisory guide; fishing maps; activity book with coloring pages, word searches, and connect-the-dots; plus a small token of appreciation for the kids (colorful fish necklace, crayons, glow sticks or some other reward). Handout materials will be packaged in ziplock bags, and a QR code will be made available to participants who prefer such method.
