People have been decorating their clothes with embroidery, beads and quills since clothing began! You too can learn how to stitch decorations for yourself or to give away.

October 2, 2026(1 event) – Info provided by The Philmont Artists Collective: The Philmont Artists Collective is an informal networking group for artists living and working in Philmont and the surrounding area. The group has a standing meeting at the Philmont Public Library on the First Friday of each month (except for holidays when the library is closed) in the Community Room starting at 1 pm. The group purpose is to foster communication and collaboration between artists and is open to artists of all disciplines and career levels. Additionally the group has a private facebook group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/philmontartistscollective ) and an open email list.
