Philmont Memory Project

Do you remember a special event or location in the village that you could share?  Maybe the pet store where you bought your first fish, the fires at the mill, any of the many parades, playing in your best friend’s yard or at any of the town parks or the time you met your favorite neighbor.  The library is collecting these memories of the village and your time here.  EVERYONE is encouraged to share a one paged memory to eventually be added to a book of memories of life in the village.  A written page and a picture of you in the location of your memory or just the location can be submitted to through the link above
This is an open ended project.  We will be printing the first installment of the book at the end of the year, but will also continue collecting.  If you would like help recording your memory or taking your picture, please let us know.  Also, if you would like to help by transcribing memories for those who would like assistance contact us at the library as well.
