This year with the help of a grant from the Children’s Foundation of Columbia County, the Philmont Library has added to our collection of museum passes. In addition to Berkshire Museum, Norman Rockwell Museum, The Troy Children’s Museum (A/K/A Troy Science Museum), USS Slater, New York State Museum of Firefighters, MASSMoCA, The Columbia County Historical Society, The Clark, House Tours at Olana and House Tours at Steepletop (Edna St. Vincent Millay) we now also have passes to Arrowhead (the home of Herman Melville), Berkshire Botanical, Thomas Cole Historic Site and The Albany Museum of Art and History.
Passes can be checked out for 3 days by picking them up at the library, using your library card. Patrons will not be able to reserve the passes using the OPAC. The passes usually admit two people. The Norman Rockwell is a discount rather than a free pass. Call the library for more information at 672-5010.
